TAIWAN: ILLUSTRATION: KATE HUANG

Digital artist and character designer Kate Huang created a set of illustrated cards for the Bopomofo system, the pronunciation of Mandarin in Taiwan. Kate says she’s fond of illustration “because [it] can bring people to a fantasy world…it is possible for anything to happen.” It makes sense then that she also loves to draw inspiration from children’s books.
